The primary objective of military, intelligence and law enforcement training is to improve mission-readiness. Effective training must be current, relevant and realistic – and must include strategic planning and tactical implementation support from experienced professionals.
From curriculum development to student evaluation, K2 Group has trained and experienced instructors who ensure our training solutions improve performance while increasing safety and security. While we provide specialized expertise in the areas of special operations, countering high consequence threats, and cyber security, our curriculum developers can work with customers to develop specialized programs of instruction to support the unique training needs of their organization. Our training offerings can support small- to large-scale events and incidents and are crafted to unique scenarios and individual learning styles.
Develop Mission Essential Task Lists (METL)
Our instructors possess extensive, real-world experience and utilize this experience to determine essential training tasks.
Develop Learning Objectives (Enabling Learning Objectives - ELOs & Terminal Learning Objectives - TLOs)
Our trained instructors have developed ELOs and TLOs for all K2 Group training offerings. They can also work with customers to develop specific ELOs and TLOs as needed. ELOs and TLOs are clearly communicated and used by instructors to evaluate students.
Develop / Revise Training Curriculum, Plans, and Exercises
K2 Group follows the ADDIE model for developing training courses. Our curriculum developers also work with customers to revise and update existing training documents as needed.
Develop Programs of Instruction (POI)
We use many instructional design methods as a framework in designing and developing Programs of Instruction (POI). Our instructional designers find the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) approach to be a very effective training tool in curriculum design.
Exercise Design, Delivery, and Support
From table-top exercises to immersive simulation, K2 Group works with customers to determine exercise priorities and provide a full range of support to develop, facilitate, and evaluate training.
